Job title: Consultant Psychiatrist

Salary: £167,500
Job type: Permanent or part-time
Summary:
- Responsibility for patients detained under the MHA and responsibility for voluntary patients.
- Providing clinical leadership to the MDT in assessment, treatment and discharge planning for patients following the acute care pathway
- Weekly MDT Reviews
- CPAs, Discharge planning, community and family liaisons
- Working in collaboration with MDT to monitor day to day progress and evaluation of treatment plans as needed
- Ensure MDT completion of agreed treatment plans
- Preparation of tribunal/Hospital Managers reports and attending the hearing
- The post holder will have responsibility for providing weekly clinical supervision to the Specialty Doctor
Key skills required:
- Current GMC registration with license to practice
- On GMC’s specialist register for General Ault Psychiatry
- AC approval
