Banding: 6
Hourly Rate: £30 to £33 per hour
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm OR 9am to 5pm
Payment Method: Umbrella or PAYE

Contract Length: 6 months minimum
Job Summary:
- Supporting a hospital urgent Emergency Care department.
- Band 6 Pharmacy tech to be ACT qualified and this MUST be reflected on their CV or with a certificate attached.
- Reviewing and dispensing for patients.
- Completing prescriptions on e-prescriptions.
- Review patient notes on Careflow
- Checking stock on TMJ Insight.
- Supporting in overall flow of patients through the Urgent and Emergency department.
- MUST have hospital experience.
- All staff will need to complete some e-learning in advance of their first shift – on systems used – Approx 15 hours to do the training – will be paid at £30 per hour up to 15 hours.
- Day 1 will be induction and orientation as well as trust specific face to face training.
- Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm OR 9am to 5pm. Staff will be put on a rota. Shifts subject to change.
Essential Candidate Criteria:
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services, BTEC Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with GPhC
- Must be a qualified Accredited Checking Technician with evidence of qualification.
- Must have NHS hospital experience.
- Right to work in the UK
