Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP)

Hourly Rate: £40 to £45 per hour

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 630pm (will consider shorter hours/part time)

Payment Method: Umbrella or PAYE

Contract Type: Locum

Contract Length: Ongoing

Job Summary:

  • Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate treatment/interventions and care for patients presenting with undifferentiated and undiagnosed conditions and complex needs.
  • Clinically examine and assess patient needs from a physiological and psychological perspective, and plan clinical care accordingly.
  • Proactively identify, diagnose and manage treatment plans for patients at risk of developing a long-term condition (as appropriate).
  • Post registration experience in at least one of the following areas, relating to the service applying for: Out of Hours Urgent Primary care, General practice, walk in centre, A&E, Community or Intermediate Care beds (Care Home).
  • Willing to undertake face to face consultations including home visits
  • Ability to conduct remote consultations/assessments
  • Preferred skill experience in Adastra and EMIS (training if Req in Adastra)

Essential Candidate Criteria:

  • Full NMC Registration or HCPC registration with no restrictions
  • BSC Qualification in Nursing/Post Grad certificate
  • MSc Master of Science Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice
  • Experience of working in urgent care and/or primary care
