Job Details:

Working hours: Full time, working 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)

Salary: The salary on offer for this role is £29,112 OTE (£24,000 base salary plus travel allowance and unsociable hours adjustments), plus our competitive and regularly reviewed company benefits package.

You may be a graduate with a STEM degree who ideally has some experience of industrial and/or construction environments, looking for your next challenge or to kickstart your career in the Occupational Health field. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary occupational health team, taking a self-motivated and proactive approach to your role, prioritising and managing your own workload. 

What you'll be doing:

  • Performing Occupational Hygiene monitoring and surveys of personnel and site activities for a range of chemical, physical and biological agents.
  • Participating in specific occupational hygiene related investigations and studies.
  • Carrying out regular workplace inspection to assess occupational hygiene related aspects.
  • Assisting with the preparation and delivery of training and information materials on occupational hygiene related topics.
  • Contributing to the occupational hygiene performance reports.

Ideally you will be an affiliate member of the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene (AFOH) and working towards the certificate of Operational Competence in Occupational Hygiene (CertOH) – however full training can be provided.


  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • IT literate
  • IT competency and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Teams
  • Hold a degree qualification in a STEM related subject area and preferably at least three years’ work experience of
  • industrial and / or construction environments
  • Working toward the Certificate of Operational Competence in Occupational Hygiene (CertOH) of the British
  • Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS)

Essential Candidate Criteria:

  • Bachelors Degree in STEM related degree
  • Affiliate Member of the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene (AFOH)
  • Right to work in the UK
