Salary: £30,000 – £35,000

 

The role:

You will be responsible and accountable for the office environment.

You will address day-to-day operational issues relating to the administration functions of the CRC. You will work closely with other support services including HR, Finance, Accounts, Fundraising, Maintenance, etc as well as outside contractors to ensure the smooth running of the hub and in turn the safety and security of the premises.

 

Main Accountabilities: 

  • To oversee the office environment
  • Ensure the smooth running of the office, and implementing and maintaining administration processes and procedures.
  • Supervise and monitor the work of administrative staff.
  • To maintain and develop financial processes and procedures.
  • Provide budget management support to the Managers within each department, including processing of year end information, day-to-day invoices and raising financial orders.
  • Ensure efficient and compliant digital records and files and new and existing administrative systems including distributing data, seeking and collating responses from others, and locating and collating files, correspondence or information. Files may be sensitive and should comply with data protection.
  • To act as the lead for administration, providing cover for all support areas and to undertake any other tasks which are commensurate to the grade of the post.
  • To serve as the appointed GDPR representative for the service, attending GDPR meetings and helping to advise on any GDPR issues

Experience: 

Successful candidate is likely to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience in managing budgets and invoicing
  • Experience providing administrative support in a multi-faceted, complex business environment.
  • Proven track record of embracing digital approaches and new ways of working
  • Experience working in a busy helpdesk environment
  • Working effectively with senior managers, professional staff and external agencies
  • Experience in managing own workload and prioritising task
  • Experience in organising the workload of other employees to achieve specific and set objectives, in the most efficient way possible using the resources available and within a set timetable.
