Banding: 7
Hourly Rate: £32 to £34 per hour
Working hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours (will consider 3 to 4 days a week)
Payment Method: Direct Engagement

Contract Length: 3 months minimum
Job Summary:
- Working as a Clinical Pharmacist within the Women and Children service.
- Ensure compliance of self and team members, with medicines legislation, policies and procedures.
- Ensure a safe, legal and timely supply of medication to patients.
- Work independently and also liaising closely with the other Senior Pharmacists, Principal Pharmacists, Chief Pharmacist and Chief Technicians.
- Be responsible for the day to day planning and provision of the clinical pharmacy and medicines management services in the Women's and Children service and to ensure timely delivery of services in line with key performance indicators.
- Positively influence cost effective prescribing.
- Assist in the development of clinical guidelines, protocols and Patient Group Directions (PGDs).
- To act as first point of contact for clinical practitioners and management personnel in matters relating to the Pharmacy practice in the Women's and Children service.
- Ideally with Cerner experience.
Essential Candidate Criteria:
- Masters Degree in Pharmacy
- GPhC Registered as a Pharmacist
- Minimum 5 years recent UK post registration experience of pharmacy practice
- Minimum 3 years recent post registration experience of hospital pharmacy
- Right to work in the UK
