Job Details:
Banding: 5/6
Hourly Rate: Between £19 to £25 per hour (depending on experience)
Working hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours (will consider 3 to 4 days a week)
Payment Method: Direct Engagement
Contract Type: Locum
Contract Length: 3 months minimum
Job Summary:
- Looking for Medicine Management Pharmacy Technician or Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technicians.
- Working as member of the Pharmacy team providing a safe and effective service to a variety of patients within the hospital and outside units.
- Striving with the multidisciplinary team to resolve queries as they arise.
- Supporting the operational team as and when required with a variety of tasks to ensure timely delivery of Pharmacy supplies.
- Accuracy checking role: to support the dispensary workflow with a weekly rota checking slot / Taking an up-to-date accurate medication history for all patients and working with the multidisciplinary team.
Essential Candidate Criteria:
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services, BTEC Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with GPhC
- Experience in Hospital /Community dispensary
- For Band 6 position: Must have an accredited checking qualification
- Right to work in the UK
