Job Details:
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, 2 shifts on off. Shifts are 8am -11pm
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per year
Location: Romford, Essex
Contract Type: Permanent
Responsibilities:
- lead a team of Support workers
- develop and implement care plans based on individual needs
- provide guidance and supervision
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the care, progress and any incidents involving children
- respond to emergencies or challenging situations effectively
- liaise with families, guardians and external agencies, ensuring effective communication .
- Promote team work and professional development.

Essential Candidate Criteria:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a Children's residential setting
- Strong knowledge and understanding of child development, trauma informed care and safeguarding practices
- Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends as required
- Valid drivers licence
- Minimum of level 3 health and social care children
