Blackstone Recruitment are working with a Private organisation who are recruiting a Speech and Language Therapist to join their paediatric team based in Kent.
This is a 1 year contract (School term), ongoing thereafter
Job Summary
- To start ASAP. / Or September 2024
- You’ll be welcomed into our small but dynamic SaLT team working with teenagers and young adults in an inclusive FE college. There are opportunities to extend your skills in the following areas: Neuro-diversity (ASD), SEMH, learning difficulties, ADHD, Hearing Impairment, Cerebral Palsy and speech/language disorder.
- The other clinicians mainly work offsite, and can support our onsite colleague throughout the working week. The SaLT work involves assessment, direct therapy and target writing, with an emphasis on improving functional skills. The team has experience in all the clinical areas above, and resources and ideas to support anyone who joins us. There are also opportunities for liaison with carers and college staff, including the onsite OT and Physio.
- The work is term time only, with flexible days and hours.
- Caseload is students from 16 years to 18 years.
Job Specifics
Rate: £28 - £35 per hour
Working Hours: 37.5 hours
Contract Type: 1 year contract
Payment: Umbrella / Limited company (Outside of IR35)
