Job Title: ADHD Assessor
Hourly rate: £250 - £300 Per Assessment (The top end is achieved by face-to-face working)
Working hours: Full-time working hours Ideally, open to 3 days per week minimum and weekends + evenings
Payment Method: Umbrella
Contract Type: Locum
Contract Length: 3-month minimum with a scope for extension
Locations: Canterbury, Basingstoke, Crawley, Remote
Job Summary *Development Histories will be conducted by separate Clinicians*
- Conducting and completing ADHD assessments and supporting people with ADHD.
- We are advising and supporting colleagues, ensuring the high-quality delivery of our ADHD assessment pathways, leading to positive outcomes for our clients.
- Confidence in differential diagnosis and comorbid conditions to make accurate, robust and appropriate diagnoses.
- Uphold professional responsibility for your diagnostic decision-making within competence, with supervision from Clinical Leads.
- Maintaining accurate and timely client records and writing professional reports within expected timescales.
Person Specification
- Relevant experience in ADHD assessment and diagnosis.
- Knowledge and experience in providing psycho-social or psycho-educational support and/or intervention.
- Strong knowledge of legislation and development relevant to the field of ADHD service provisions.
- The ability to work autonomously and manage your caseload.
- Strong IT skills and ability to use software such as Microsoft Word and Teams.
Qualification Criteria
- A clinical qualification in medicine, speech and language therapy, mental health nursing, clinical psychology or educational psychology.
- An appropriate statutory body registration (HCPC, NMC, GPHC)
- Outstanding communication skills
