Banding: 7/8a
Hourly Rate: £30.72 per hour (Band 7) / £35.66 per hour (Band 8a)
Working hours: Monday-Friday 37.5 hours a week (will consider part time)
Payment Method: Direct Engagement
Contract Type: Locum
Contract Length: 3 to 6 month minimum
Job Summary:
- The successful candidate will support the provision of a specialist clinical pharmacy service.
- Working on NHS wards.
- This will consist of largely but not solely the following activities, clinical verification of prescription charts, prescribing advice, medicines reconciliation on admission and discharge and patient counselling.
- May include some dispensary based duties depending on experience and banding.
Essential Candidate Criteria:
- Masters Degree in Pharmacy
- GPhC Registered as a Pharmacist
- Right to work in the UK
- NHS experience required
- Experience working on hospital wards
