Blackstone Recruitment are working with a Large Private organisation who are recruiting Occupational Therapist's to join their paediatric teams based in Kent.
This is a Locum role, ongoing contracts, with no end date.
Job Summary
- Delivering occupational therapy assessments to clients, including consideration for all needs, identifying areas of difficulty that require attention or intervention.
- Observing and testing patients to assess specific difficulties and their impact.
- Planning and developing appropriate therapy programmes based on the individual patient needs in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Liaising with the team, school staff and parents/guardians.
- Managing a caseload while taking into account priority cases, waiting lists, successful outcomes, referral and discharge of service users.
Job Specifics
Rate: £35 - £45 per hour (Depending on experience)
Payment: Umbrella or Limited company - Outside of IR35
Working Hours: 37.5 hours
Contract Type: Locum
YOU WILL NEED:
- Relevant Occupational Therapy degree, approved by the HCPC and RCOT.
- HCPC Registration
- Experience as an Occupational Therapist supporting children and/or adolescents
- Completed relevant competencies
- Strong organisational and communication skills
