Job Details:
Banding: 8a
Hourly Rate: £38 to £40 per hour
Working hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours (will consider 4 days a week)
Payment Method: Umbrella or PAYE
Contract Type: Locum
Contract Length: 3 months minimum
Job Summary:
- To be an expert in pharmaceutical matters for the treatment of childhood cancer.
- To be a member of a team of specialist pharmacists delivering a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service to the Haematology and Oncology Departments.
- To manage and further develop the ward based pharmacy service on the Inpatient Haematology/Oncology wards.
- To promote and contribute to the education and training of healthcare professionals.
- To promote and contribute to the education and training of staff working or rotating through the Cytotoxics unit.
Essential Candidate Criteria:
- Masters Degree in Pharmacy
- GPhC Registered as a Pharmacist
- Post-graduate Diploma (or working towards) in Pharmacy Practice or equivalent
- Experience providing a clinical service in Haematology/Oncology
- Right to work in the UK
