Blackstone Recruitment are working with a Charity who are recruiting a Physiotherapist Assistant to join their team based in Surrey.

This is a Permanent job to start ASAP.

Job Summary  

• To support the therapy teams with the treatment of Clients.

THE OPPORTUNITY 

• To assist senior colleagues with therapy treatment including handling and transferring.
• Under guidance from senior colleagues, to complete simple exercise routines with individual residents and assist or run simple group sessions.
• To prepare residents and treatment area in readiness for sessions. To assist residents at the end of sessions and replace equipment etc.
• Clerical duties within the Department e.g. maintaining accurate and up to date documentation, filing; photocopying; stock control; making appointments; writing up exercise programmes; downloading digital images from camera etc.
• Any other ad-hoc duties.

Job Specifics

Salary: £23,244

Working Hours:  37.5 hours - Part time considered

They are structured into two main services – Mobility Services (who operate outreach services across the South East of England), Care and Rehabilitation Centre located within the Surrey campus. These are augmented by the Retail Trading (15 retail charity shops) and a family of smaller charities – MERU which provides innovative product solutions for Children and The Grange in Kent a residential care home for adults with a learning disability.
