A unique opportunity has opened for an RMN/RNLD to work in a unit where extensive MDT support is offered to patients and colleagues alike. You will work alongside a team of professionals, including Ward Managers, Charge Nurses, Doctors, Support Workers, Therapists, Activity Coordinators, and the Senior Management Team.
The post-holder will care for patients with acute mental health needs admitted to the hospital for assessment and treatment.
The hospital consists of 3 wards.
- 12 bedded male acute ward
- 8 bedded male acute ward
- 8 bedded female acute ward
Job Specifics
- Position: Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered LD Nurse (Nights)
- Hours: Full-time 37.5 Hours Per week
- Contract Type: Permanent
- Location: West Midlands
- Salary: £34,900 to £37,227 + £3000 Welcome Bonus

- Valid NMC Registration (RMN or RNLD)
- Evidence of post-registration continuing professional development
- A positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of NMC standards, guidelines and professional practices
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice
