Contract Type: Temporary, Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm

We are seeking a temporary Literacy/Reading and PSHE Teacher. This role is perfect for an enthusiastic, adaptable educator who is looking for a rewarding teaching position with the potential to make a lasting impact on students’ personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
Literacy/Reading: Deliver engaging and effective literacy lessons to improve students' reading and writing skills.
PSHE: Plan and teach Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE), helping students develop essential life skills and personal awareness.
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional learning needs.
Support the overall development of students’ academic, social, and emotional well-being.
Collaborate with the wider teaching team to ensure an integrated approach to student development.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential for this role.
Proven experience in teaching Literacy/Reading and PSHE to secondary school students.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
A passion for supporting the holistic development of students, both academically and personally.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with students, staff, and parents.
A proactive, enthusiastic approach to teaching and a commitment to fostering a love of learning.
